NIGHTINGALE HOUSE FUNDRAISER
A LOCAL AND TREASURED CHARITY
Rossett Hall Hotel team members are attempting to raise £1,500 for Nightingale Hospice
in a joint effort as they aim to walk and run 1,500 KM during February 2021.
​
Nearly 30 team members are recording their morning jogs, dog walks and family exercise in hope to
raise awareness and £1,500 with Nightingale Hospice needing to raise 80% of operating costs
every year (around £2.8M).
Our team target is to collectively walk/run 1500km in hope to raise much
needed funding for Nightingale House Hospice.

Nightingale House offers a wide range of facilities to local people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Patients come from Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire and outlying areas. In 2020 it will cost £3,435,943 million to run the Hospice - this equates to nearly £9,388 per day.

THE EGG DROP
Our Reception Manager 'Helen'
rescued 4 beautiful little hens,
that produce the most delicious eggs!
Helen regularly donates these eggs to
a local family as well as the hens being considered a valuable part of Helen's family!
Helen has chosen to walk this week and safely drop the eggs off, adding another 2.26miles
to our fundraiser target!

PIGEON RESCUE
FEBRUARY 17TH
Honorata has had an interesting and
meaningful walk this morning whilst contributing another 10.81KM to our Nightingale Fundraiser... A little pigeon was scared,
injured and in need of a little TLC.
Honorata called the RSPCA and we are
pleased to confirm, after a dose of antibiotics
he should be ok and ready to return to the historical streets of Wrexham!
